Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection New Cask Rye Whiskey was first launched in 2011 and is premium NAS rye composed of 100% malted barley bottled at 46.2% ABV. Aged in new, virgin American oak casks, this punchy whiskey is full of bold character and simmering warmth and was originally part of a double-release, paired with a twinning 100% Rye matured in aged ex-bourbon casks. Rare and hard to find outside of the double-release set, this exceptionally crafted rye has grown in popularity around the globe and is sure to be a truly supreme addition to any prized rye collection. The nose opens with layers of fresh herbs, pine sap, floral undertones, and mint. On the palate are hues of sweet spice, dark aniseed, black cherries, and juicy currants.
