Bruichladdich Octomore Edition 12.2 Super Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch was created as part of the Impossible Equation bottling series and is superior whisky aged for a minimum of 3.5 years in ex-Amercian bourbon oak casks. The distillate is then finished for 18 months in select French ex-Sauternes wine casks for a total maturation period of 5 years. Bottled at 57.3% ABV, this limited-release single malt features a nose highlighting smoke, roasted bacon, and peat between boughs of honeydew, peat, island pineapples, and delicate lemon.
