Proudly celebrating the bravery of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne, Boundary Oak 82nd Airborne Straight Bourbon is a collaborative creation between the Boundary Oak Distillery and the courageous members of the 82nd Airborne Division Association. Affectionately dubbed “operation bourbon”, this premium whiskey contains a mash bill of 21% rye, 75% corn, and 4% malted barley, and is aged a minimum of 2 years to a finely-balanced 100 proof. Originally released in July 2020 and offered in limited quantities, 82nd Airborne Straight Bourbon is presented in a collectible bottle decorated with the authentic colors and official logo of the 82nd Airborne. The nose offers hints of char, oak, and vanilla seasoned with brown sugar. On the palate are layers of leather, vanilla bean extract, and warm spices.
