This featured iteration is #5 of the series and is Kentucky straight bourbon combining 4 distinct whiskies from 4 different distillers each containing unique mash bills. These whiskies are said to have been sourced from legendary bourbon-makers such as Jim Beam and George Dickel, with a perspective breakdown as follows; 31% 13 yr old Kentucky bourbon (74% corn/18% rye/8% malted barley), 24% 17 year old Tennessee bourbon( 84% corn/8% rye/8% malted barley), 25% 7 year old Kentucky bourbon(78% corn/10% rye/12% malted barley), and 19% 6 year old Kentucky bourbon(75% corn/13% corn/12% malted barley). BBCo Discovery Series #5 is bottled at 104.7 proof or 52.35% ABV and was released in limited quantities to ensure the utmost quality in every bottle.
