Bottled at 90.4 proof and distilled using the classic ‘Irish’ triple pot still method, the 17th instalment in the Master’s Collection series is another innovative piece of whiskey-making that accentuates the unique and interesting flavors you might imagine a stout-driven mash whiskey might have. An inspired take on ‘distiller’s beer’, there is a citrus-forward almost ‘hoppy’ note throughout the whiskey, while strong notes of grain, oak, vanilla, caramel and chocolate make their presence known.
